I believe in the power of strategic planning and research-driven decision making to transform workplace culture and create opportunities for employees to grow intellectually and emotionally. Becoming the best versions of themselves, empowered and supported by those around them, is the ultimate win. I have seen and experienced first hand the unlimited potential within all people that can be unlocked and ignited by creating an engaging environment that is supportive and collaborative.

Through a set vision, aligned strategy, and leadership among my colleagues as a principal, my high expectations of students and faculty resulted in academic growth for students and accolades for the staff from accrediting and certifying educational bodies. Additionally in my non-profit, I prioritize fostering a culture of excellence encouraging staff to reach ambitious goals while enjoying the journey — it’s what I like to refer to as a double win. My team members are finding personal and professional accomplishments, resulting in an overall win for both our organization and its dedicated individuals.

I have a deeply personal understanding of the constraints that people continue to face in an ever-changing (or even a stagnate) workplace that spotlights the loneliness among fellow employees, the way a “one-size-fits-all” approach limits creativity and wonder, the inability to find peace and freedom due to lack of support or empowerment, as well as unclear expectations that permeate tasks, assignments and projects. Even the most productive and successful organizations can take a closer look at how their teams and employees relate to one another in an effort to empower, build community and recognize opportunities to pour in gratitude.
